And I mean I’ve done this;

I’ve done this before.

Umm

Some things that I’ve been thinking about

Well,

West Virginia.

West Virginia really I’ve been thinking about and how…

I’ve heard of it beauty,

And in some ways…

It’s bizarreness too.

Um and I felt it.

I I was in West Virginia and

Which I know isn’t true but that’s what it felt like.

And I felt it.

I felt the mountains on each side of me, I saw the signs that said “NO PARKING” and could only assume that there was something worth parking about…

And I mean I’ve done this;

I’ve done this before

I’ve been thinking alot about the ummm indust.. industrial, um the industry of it. They way people have extracted things from it, historically and today.

I guess I’ve just been thinking a lot about the ways West Virginia has been used.

So, yeah. That’s what I’ve been thinking about.

Um and now I’m in Virginia which is um east of West Virginia. But I’m not even really east of West Virginia um I’m more south of it than east of it.

OH And AND and and and. There’s okay West Virginia again. I forgot to mention this BUT

There was a lot of drama about tolls. Um I had to pay these tolls in West Virginia. And for some reason I thought they weren’t going to let me through cause I didn’t have any cash. But they did…

Awe shit I should probably pay those tolls

Anyways, I have a strong hunch that tolls is tolls are called tolls because of TROLLS because like whenever you think of like those old stories of trolls you have to pay them to get past to. To get to continue on your trail.

Trolls. T-R-O-L-L-S and when you think about a toll T-O-L-L-S it’s really hard for me to imagine it’s not derived from that.

A toll is really like a modern day troll you know. You have to pay to get past and you don’t really know why but it feels like there is probably some sort of deeper meaning but you don’t really know what it is.

Um maybe that’s just me

I don’t know. Now I am just wondering… what do I have to pay to get past?

This.

What am I willing to pay to get past this?

I I I felt all of that. I felt it all. Umm and I didn’t, I didn’t, see it though.

I don’t know. I’m just. It’s a really interesting phenomenon to know that you’re surrounded by beauty and culture and history and significance and being able to feel it – knowing it — and feeling it but not seeing it.
